Restaurant Tage in Piteå is the result of long experience, lots of knowledge and a strong belief in really good service. We serve classic dishes combined with new exciting gastronomic creations, all accompanied by carefully selected drinks.

About you

We are looking for someone who is positive, enterprising with great responsibility and creativity. You are passionate about food and want to create an unforgettable experience for our guests. You are organized and structured as well as coaching in your leadership. You are creative, curious and, together with the rest of the kitchen team, are ready to take on the challenge of maintaining the high quality of our award-winning kitchen.

Experience as a chef in high-quality restaurants and similar roles is seen as meritorious.

The job

The role of sous chef includes operational responsibility for the kitchen’s routines when the chef is not on site. You are involved in the development of the kitchen’s production with the creation of menus and concepts. You are involved in ensuring the kitchen’s operational function linked to raw material orders and contact with suppliers and together with the kitchen chef must ensure that the quality of the product corresponds to the business’ high goals.

You will work actively for the development of the kitchen, both with the food we serve and with the team. As a sous chef, you help manage the work of our chefs while you work in the kitchen yourself. It is therefore important that you understand the value of collaborating and delegating.

The position is a 100% full-time position with a 6-month trial period. The working hours vary and are spread over daytime, evenings and weekends.

Access to the position takes place in August by agreement.

You are a trained chef and have experience of similar work in the industry. As a chef at Tage, you help ensure that we maintain a high quality of food and service.

We are a team and therefore good collaboration skills are just as important as being able to work independently.

You have broad knowledge in food and good knowledge of raw materials.

The heart of the restaurant is our flaming grill where the meat has a given place. We work to a large extent with local raw materials and the best that Norrbotten has to offer.
